The Vow
What Aynshara will never do.
These limits apply to the product design, the data handling, and the business model. They apply to every account, from the free 14-day trial to a founding seat, for the life of the account. Each vow comes with the mechanism that enforces it, because a promise without a mechanism is just marketing.
Never give you advice, a diagnosis, or a score.
Automated output checks reject any reflection that contains advice, a diagnosis, or an unsupported claim before it ever reaches you. There is no score anywhere in the app to compute. The output rules are published, and machine composed text is labeled.
Never train models on your reflections.
Your words are excluded from model training by contract with our AI providers and by our own architecture. Nothing you write improves anyone's model. Not even ours.
Never sell your words, and never show you ads.
We will never sell your data, and we never grant any third party access to your words. What you choose to share with a coach, a counselor, or anyone else is yours to share, from your own export, by your own hand. The business model makes this permanent. Founding seats and subscriptions fund the app. So your attention is not the product, and your words are not the inventory.
Never put your pain on a leaderboard or a progress bar, and never manufacture urgency.
No streaks. No rankings. No completion percentages. No notifications engineered to pull you back. And no false scarcity. You will never see a countdown timer, an expiring discount, or an invented stock level here. When we state a limit, like one thousand founding seats, it is real. It exists for a stated reason, and it will never quietly reset.
Never lock your words in.
Export everything in open formats, any time. Delete everything, any time, and it is gone. If Aynshara ever closes, every member receives at least ninety days notice and a complete export of their Record.
Never pretend to be your therapist, your guru, or your friend.
The Mirror is a tool, and it says so. It does not perform affection. It does not claim a relationship. It does not position itself as a substitute for human care. When something needs a person, the app points to people. The Grounding page exists for exactly that.
These vows survive us.
These vows are not a policy we maintain. They are terms the product exists under, and they do not expire with a change of management or ownership. If Aynshara is ever sold, merged, or restructured, these rights transfer with it, binding on whoever holds it next. Any exchange of ownership must carry these vows intact, as a condition of the exchange. They are sacred to Aynshara. They are pinned to your account, not to the moment, and not to us. And if any future owner will not carry them, the closure promise stands instead. Ninety days notice and a complete export of every member's Record, before anything changes.
